BSC Young Boys

Zillertal & BSC Young Boys

The players of BSC Young Boys will return to Austria for their training camp during the next three years until 2019. The first team plays in the Swiss Super League and has won 11 Swiss league championships and six Swiss Cups. YB is one of the most successful Swiss football clubs internationally and reached the semi-finals of the European Cup in the 1958–59 season.

The excellent football-infrastructure, as well as successful training camps of many renowned European football clubs in the past years have been deciding factors in the choice to come to Zillertal. “We’re looking forward to heading to Zillertal. Experiencing perfect training conditions and enjoying the ideal climate will help us get the most out for the upcoming seasons. I’d like to thank Gernot Paesold for contributing to make this happen.” (Christoph Spycher, Sports Director at BSC Young Boys)

Zillertal provides the ideal environment for footballers to train and compete, giving them access to football fields of the highest standard, multi-purpose facilities for a variety of sports as well as gyms, swimming pools, and indoor and outdoor tracks. “We’re convinced that this cooperation will increase the popularity of the Austrian region Zillertal within Switzerland throughout our communication channels.” (Wanja Greuel, CEO at BSC Young Boys)
