The Hintertux Glacier offers a varied range of activities for young and old between 1,500m and 3,250m above sea level, 365 days a year! At the very top at 3,250 m, the Panorama Terrace offers not only fabulous panoramic views, but is also the starting point for all adventures. The days are getting shorter and winter is setting in at 3,250 metres. The nights get colder and the conditions on the mountain improve from day to day. Come along in autumn and experience the snowiest ski area in Austria. The ski season simply starts earlier on the Hintertux Glacier at 3,250 metres above sea level. Especially in early autumn, the Hintertux Glacier already offers skiing fun and breathtaking views over snow-covered peaks and green valleys thanks to its altitude.
Hintertux Park Opening
From 03 - 06 October 2024 we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the legendary Hintertux Park Opening! As the season kick-off of the snowboard scene, the event has become indispensable and has been attracting riders from all over the world with creative set-ups and spectacular contests for two decades now. Be there when the international snowboard community meets on the Hintertux Glacier to kick off the new season together on the mountain and in the valley.
