From the slopes to the green
Ski in the morning, play golf in the afternoon – all against a wonderful panorama. Two Olympic champions show you a new kind of activity holiday in Zillertal. High spirits and enjoyment guaranteed!
Due to its location at an altitude of 550m, the broadness of the valley and the climatic conditions, you can play on Austria's unique 5-star superior golf course between April and October. This factor, combined with the great range of ski slopes available in the region, makes for a new kind of activity holiday.
“Early in the morning, when you still have a great grip on the snow, you can put on your ski boots and your skis and start carving down the perfectly prepared slopes,” says Eberharter. “And then, around noon, you can sit down in front of a hut and talk shop for a bit,” adds Stock.
Then, in the afternoon, the two men shift their attention to the golf course. “Hitting a few balls on the driving range or playing a round of golf is really great,” Stock says, excitedly. The extensive par-71 course, which is embedded in 65 hectares of gentle hillside and framed by secluded forests and landscaped ponds, provides elegance and exclusivity with a breathtaking panorama.
Wellmaintained fairways, numerous bunkers and some lively greens make a round on this golf course a diverse and unforgettable adventure for both beginners and experts. “When you’re sitting at a table in the evening and you’re having an excellent dinner, possibly after a visit to one of the many first-class wellness facilities here in the valley,“ says Stock, “you’ll think to yourself, ‘This has been an amazing day.’”
