Early Morning Skiing
What better way to start your day than to stand on the piste as the sun comes up and glide down the untouched, perfectly groomed slopes? The valley’s 535 kilometres of pistes can be optimally used to this end.
In the 2019/20 winter season, “Early Morning Skiing” is once again possible throughout Zillertal. Some of the lifts open as early as 6.55 am, with various mountain huts offering hearty breakfasts for all early birds.
Ski-optimal Hochzillertal ski area
Ski-optimal Hochzillertal Kaltenbach opens its turnstiles at 7.30 am every day throughout the winter for “Early Morning Powder Fun”.
Zillertal Arena ski area
This winter the Zillertal Arena is making it again all possible. Every Thursday and Sunday in March 2020 in Zell, Gerlos and Königsleiten, you can get into the swing on the freshly prepared slopes from 6.55 am in the morning. Skier and Snowboarder can enjoy a hearty breakfast at one of the many cozy cottages in the Zillertal Arena.
Mayrhofner Bergbahnen ski area
During the 2019–20 winter season, the Ahornbahn will be operating from 7:30 a.m., before all of our other gondolas and lifts. Take advantage of this service to enjoy the perfectly prepared pistes of the valley run Ahorn early in the morning. Tip: After some downhill runs, treat yourself to a delicious mountain breakfast at the Café-Bistro Kunstraum on Mount Ahorn.
The Café-Bistro Kunstraum does not open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 11:00 a.m. in the winter season. Therefore there is no mountain breakfast on these days.
Early Bird Skiing at 7:45 a.m.
Be the first on the slopes – an unique experience! Freshly groomed slopes to enjoy and that even before everyone else! Enjoy skiing with the directors of the Zillertaler Gletscherbahn GmbH & Co KG followed by a brunch at the Wirtshaus am Tuxer Ferner.
