Chai tea biscuits


200 g butter
100 g brown sugar
1 egg yolk
6 tea bags chai tea
300 g flour
200 g icing sugar
6 tsp lemon juice
Sprinkles or sugar pearls for decoration



  1. Mix butter, sugar and egg yolk with a mixer, add the contents of the tea bags and knead with flour to a dough and put in a cool place.
  2. Roll out the dough to a thickness of half a centimetre, cut out various motifs and bake at 170°C convection oven for approx. 8-10 minutes.
  3. Leave to cool, mix icing sugar and lemon juice to a smooth icing and brush the biscuits with it or decorate as desired.
